Stanley Carter

Divorced, remarried to my beautiful wife Leslie, 3 children, 6 grandchildren, Served in the Army went to Vietnam Jan. 1970, served in Cambodia May and June 1970 by order of President Nixon. Served with Alpha Troop 2nd Platoon 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment. Went to the White House Oct. 20, 2009 with Alpha Troop to receive the Presidential Unit Citation form President Obama. This award was for rescuing Charlie Company 2nd. Battlion 8th Cavalry 1st Cavalry Division that was pinned down in a bunker complex. The battle is told in 2 books The Anonymous Battle and Blackhorse Riders. July 1968 Bruce Nicloson and I hitchhiked to New York City and back. Lived in Sacramento and So. California (Rancho Santa Margarita), Port Orchard, Washington. We just bought a home in Tucson, Az. this month June 2017. We will probably do the snow bird thing. I have a mild Kustom car 1961 Buick LeSabre, named Devil Or Angel. Still love crusin the Bvld. Later Gator
