Craig - Vern Vick's obituary has not been posted on the internet as of November 24, 2017.

With Thanksgiving holiday and the shock and grief associated with Vern's death, it may be a few days before we will able to hear more.

Also, my class officers of 1965 have chosen not to communicate with me about classmate's passing for the past couple of years, so what I hear will either be from my classmates or the public media.

- Robert

This is the time of year which reminds us of our time spent, time with loved ones, and time without those we loved and cared for. May your new year bring new beginnings and many treasures for all. God bless.

I still can't get the squeak out of the dash of my 57 Ford.  Looks like the forum still has the same squeak. I guess that the squeak will always be there.

Hi Don, As you know life is not fare or just. We always run into those squeaks. We are to live beyond the down and out to a better drum beat. Happy Holidays to you. Hope you are doing well. Stop by and say hi.

Linda

Carol Dunton (Stone) (1968)

Thanks Vern for posting the Christmas video.  I loved it.  (I think I recognized David Archuletta from American Idol).  Also,  Merry Christmas to you and your family.   Especially please give my love to your sister, Maureen. She has been a blessing in my life through the years.

Another thing, I saw a message about the class of '68 getting our 50th reunion going.  I'm not sure how that's going but I'm in Woodland and I'd like to be involved.   I can also offer my house for planning meetings.  Anyone know anything about that?

Beautiful video, Vern. Merry Christmas

Paul Lieberum (1968)

Hi Carol-

Wow...you look the same as I remember you! Yes, I have some feelers out to get the ball rolling on our Class of '68 50th. Bibbit is researching venues and I expect will get back to me shortly to set up a meeting. I've also talked to Janet Vaughn. We are looking at doing it in June (which is creeping up on us) since the decade reunion has grabbed september but haven't finalized anything yet. Happy to hear you'd like to help and we'll let you know when we get a meeting scheduled or you can call Bibbet.

Don,Isolate the area and spray it full of expandable foam and hope to god you never have to fix anything under the dashdevil

Linda. Hope you are doing well. Do you still have your get togethers?

Great to hear from you Monte. I wrote a pm to you. Hope you can make it. Take care. My mom and dad are doing good. Glad I have the time to be with them. Precious time.

Monte,   Sounds like a great idea with the foam but I don't think it will work on the forum.

Monte McCray (1966)

You may be right there. Don, What part of town did you live in when we were in high school?

12/04/17 05:13 PM #4224

Vern Larson (1960)

I know exactly how to fix any squeak:

1. Spray the area with copious amounts of LOVE!

2. Let the area rest with 10 minutes of PATIENTS!

3. Tighten it down with RESPECT!

I know for a fact this works as I have been the “squeaker” and the recipient of this fix many times with my siblings while growing up through the years.

MERRY CHRISTMAS CLASSMATES!

Monte, I grew up on  Viento Lane, across the street from Mike Reitzke and behind the old Raleys on College St,.  I watched it burn down in whatever year.  I lived 7 houses from the high school parking lot but drove my car to school every  day.  But I did walk home for lunch.  LOL

I thought I would post a few pictures from my town to show what Christmas looks like here.  It is a bit of a lonely time since I have no long term close friends or family here.  I hope everyone has a great Christmas season and that you enjoy friends and family....
