I wanted to be accurate, so got out my "History of Black's Station" wonderful reference book. St. Agnes church is practically the only structure in Zamora to have survived the construction of I-5. Agnes Bemmerly donated the land and $5000 for construction; Ben Keehn drafted the plans, and John Black built the church. It was dedicated in 1909; the High Mass was accompanied by musicians from Woodland.

I was in first grade at HR and my sister Sheri would take me to her classroom almost every morning before the bell rang. I remember so many of those people. I certainly remember Sister Dorothy Mary......we called her Dottie May. No disrespect.
Thank you for the trip down Memory Lane!

Mr. Mahlon Hile achieved his Ph.D in Agriculture, professor at University of  Fresno, with extensive research in Sweet Corn Enterprise Management.  Most admired witihin his field of plant science, Olericulture.

(All so very nice, Howard, with successful people.)
