Linda Baker Sills

married Jerry Bahn in 1967. We had 4 children. During the marriage the family spent 7 years in Alaska. We returned in the early 70's- divorced in 1988. I remarried Larry Sills in 1995 and went back to Texas where he remained working with UPS. He died in 2008. I remained working at a local fertilizer plant another year. As I always hated the weather there, I returned to Woodland in 2009 and purchased a home. I am now enjoying the freedom of old age.

I moved from Utah to Woodland in 1958. I was always shy. Making friends was not that easy for me. I eventually dated Bob Rooney and it was during that year I was nominated Junior Prom queen and the king was Pete Lucero. (fantastic guy). In my senior year, I stood up in front of the senior class and asked for their vote in being the class treasurer. I didn't ask immediately as I was terrified and my mind blanked out. Eventually I emitted about 6 words and was rewarded the job. In my last year of school, I was dating Larry Sills. It was about 35 years later that he and I married.
