Robert Cowing (1965)
Craig replied - " Craig Mayfield (1966) This ain't Reynard, Robert..."
I am not sure Craig what you refer to as "this" in the above sentence. But in the spirit of William Jefferson Clinton, " 'is' is 'is.' " . . . or was it " what is "is" ?
I had to look old "Reynard" up to see if i could find a connection . . . this is what I discovered:
Of course, Craig, you would use something French, but the intelligencia rely upon them heaveily - in short . . .
"Reynard The Fox, hero of several medieval European cycles of versified animal tales that satirize contemporary human society. Though Reynard is sly, amoral, cowardly, and self-seeking, he is still a sympathetic hero, whose cunning is a necessity for survival. He symbolizes the triumph of craft over brute strength . . . The main literary tradition of Reynard the Fox, however, descends from the extant French “branches” of the Roman de Renart . . ."
From my description of the fox, it could very well be at least a descendant of Reynard ? !
Does look like a very high and small green with flag with disagreeable players hawking around the green?
