I am also interested in an all 60's reunion. I also live out of state so to make arrangements, I would apperciate as much advance notice as possible. I missed the last two because of scheduling and really want make one.

I'm up for a reunion of the 1960's crowd.  Be sure to invite my Class of 1960.  We're all about 80 but not dead yet!

Thanks Gary. Yes, I ('67) and my wife Susan (Logue, '69) look forward to attending. We live in AZ now, so like all of the out-of-staters, we need as much notice as possible. Again, thanks to you and all who end up working with you.

I would like to attend if for no other reason just to see how many of us can still walk!

Yes, I would attend another all 60's reunion. Went to the last one and it was a blast.  It was held at the Fairgrounds. Every class that attended had their Class Picture taken. Looking forward to it.

Thanks Gary and Committee for posting the Survey on the Message Forum Home page.  Hope that everyone will fill it out and submit  it as soon as possible so that you can get an idea of the interest in having another Reunion.  ( See bottom of yellow column for link entitled " A possible WHS60's Reunion in 2023".)  You must be logged in to submit a reply. I know we are all anxious to see what the date might be in September, ( I hope). Those airline tickets are getting away from us!!!

Gary, would love another all 60's reunion. I enjoy these get togethers so I have the opportunity to see all of my high school friends rather than just my graduation school friends. I live in Idaho so making the all school reunion gives me the opportunity to see more people.

Dolores Cabias (Buck) (1965)

I missed some of the more recent reunions but am looking forward to attending this year. I still live in CA but hope to more to TX by mid to end of summer. Our daughters and their hubbies live there and we want to have more time with them. I recognized many names from these posts and look forward to reconnecting at the reunion.

Where are Don Winters, Bruce Lawley, Eddie Gallup, David Winn, Paula Reiff, Mike Kinnear? In addition to being high classmates, were also Laugenour Elementary school classmates. If there are other Laugenour classmates from several years, please attend the high school reunion and we can double our reunion activities.

Dolores, you should be able to email classmates by going to 'Classmate Profiles' and hunting them up (if we have their email address in the system).  The emails you send through the website a personal to the classmate and don't show the actual email address of either the sender or receiver, unless you add your and he/she adds theirs.  Good way to connect.

New reunion servey posted in the WHS60s site.  It is the second enter in the left panel (under Home Page) on the home page.  Please take 5 minutes and fill it in; we need a sense of how folks think we should proceed on reunioin planning.

I would add my name to the list of people attending an all 1960s reunion! Linelle Bisagno Diggs
P.S. Shouout to Paul Schauttauer - sorry, spelling! For his account of an incident during the VietNam War. Well written, and thought provoking...

Dear WHS grads....
I hope I don't get pounded for this, but I was wondering if it wouldn't be better to plan for a reunion in 2024 with lots of time to plan and lots of time for word to spread and everyone to make arrangements.  Since it is proposed to be a 1960-69 reunion it doesn't really matter what year it is.  I know it may just be me, but we are already entering March and it seems like a lot to do before summer or whenever the proposed date would be.

This is not a real challenge for those who live close, but for others who already have holidays, vacations and plans for later this year it could be too much.  If this was next year more people could finance and plan for the event and it might be a much better attended reunion.  Just a thought.

Tom, that should certainly be a discussion item April 5th.  But one of the considerations should be how much pushback is there on 9 Sept 2023?    Do we lose more due to 'old age' by waiting a year, compared to those that can't come due to conflicts this year?   Think it is a toss up.

A key think is the steering committee; who is going to step up and take the lead?  That groups desires will certainly shape the timing of an event.

What certainly will help is getting more feedback on the survey issues.  Think we have 47 responses so far.   Anything that can be done to increase that will sure help direct discussions April 5th.

With 71% of survey respondents saying "yes" to 9 September 2023;  I imagine some travel arrangements have already been made by those who were just waiting for a date to capture some lower cost travel fares.  Those are usually non-refundable also... definately good to be getting them as early as possible.

There has been a lot of good suggestions made for a 1960-69 Class Reunion for Woodland High School.  I believe we should all consider this event, with our age limitations regarding the location and time.  I have to say that the 1962 Woodland High School Reunion was most accommodating to these needs, easy location, tables and chairs, great Food Truck with wonderful Tacos, time early in the day Noon to 5:30.  Jim Barger, so enjoyed your car pictures, and your High School picture also.  Always nice to see the Classic Cars.

Class of 66 - please complete the survey posted under 26 Feb 2023 SURVEY, second item on the left panel of the website pages.  Whether you plan to attend or not, we need to know.  Right now Gary has informed me there are 47 responses to the survey.  If the April 5 meeting was tomorrow night I think it would be decided to not go ahead with a reunion.  This type of event is alot of moving parts.  I have been helping --- have officially resigned.  Time for me to enjoy the party!

Has any planning begun for the class reunion for 1969 next year?  Anyone know?

Better question Tom is 'has anyone started planning for the class of 68 reunion this year 😊'
