Jim Benedict

Married to a great wife, Betty Anne, since 1978, we have three boys. Currently I am the Pastor of Congregational Care at Calvary Community Church in Manteca, CA. Been serving there for over 20 years. Previously served in Reno, Las Vegas and Modesto.
Graduated from University of Nevada at Reno, 1973, B.S. in Business.
Master of Divinity, Talbot Theological Seminary, 1978.
Doctoral studies, BIOLA University, 1990s.
Enjoy working out, yep still pumping iron after all these years.
Love helping men realize their potential as I have the privilege of leading many men in small group studies every week. I feel so blessed to be doing what I do.

I was shy in high school, almost flunked public speaking. I held up the walls at all the school dances. Afraid to ask a girl to dance for fear of rejection! Now I love to speak in front of groups, spoke to over a thousand last week. Who would of thought? Goes to show you that people can change.
