Worked for Woodland School District for 12 years, moved to Temple, TX in 1976, worked for American Desk (school furniture), then went to work for KCEN-TV for 13 yrs (executive secretary to Vice President).
Played some softball when we moved to Texas in 1976. Then after 27yrs of playing I decided to retire and leave it to the younger ones. I really like living in Texas and the town I live in, Temple, is about the size of Woodland. We raised our kids and now we have 6 grand kids and 3 greats. We enjoy our family very much. We have done a lot of fishing here and at the gulf. My husband plays in a country western band and I followed when I could when our children were younger and now that they are all out I go all the time. We go to several country western concerts when we can. We do traveling when we can considering if he doesn't have to play. I (we) try to go back to Woodland a couple of times or more each year. Went to the Bahamas on our 50th wedding anniversary and the whole family went which was a lot of fun.
