Graduated Chico State with BSN in Nursing 1980. Came home to help raise daughter and help David start and run three businesses. Yes we are very busy. Our daughter and her husband are also working in the businesses.
Fast forward to 2025……Retired. Divorced. Bought a home in Creston, Ca on 13 acres. Excited about homesteading here. I have a new man in my life. Absolutely no complaints. Just grateful for my life.

School Story

Entered Woodland High School in my Sophomore year. Graduated in 1968. Best school experience was being in the choir. And had a blast when I got my 1947 Ford Coupe. Plenty of great times toodling around Woodland in that car.

Use to call the tomato season “tomato madness”. I worked at Contadina in ‘71. Started in the beltway sorting the whole tomatoes. Didn’t last long there after I got “belt sickness “. It was like being sea sick. Was put in the warehouse sweeping between stacks of canned tomato pallets. Then I worked in the lab taking samples of the tomato paste which had to be checked for temperature. The best job I had though, was in the sauce room. Giant vats of tomato sauce that I added spices to. I remember going home smelling like onions and garlic. ??
