No matter what you think from reading the previous posts, this was not a crappy party.  The crappy party took place after the reunion by many  individuals in private surroundings.  Shelly and I had the privilege of checking in class of 64.  We visited with everyone for a bit, it was good to see you all. Good party!!!  Thanks to all who came and was a part of old WHS.  RIP those who are gone.

Want to thank all those who played golf at Wild Wings last Fri.  Hope you all had a good time. Great to see some of you that I haven’t seen high school.  Also want to thank the ladies who played that day. Hope I can get a few more to come out for the next one. Thanks again everyone.

Even..though i did not make it..to the Reunion..It was great to read all the Post...see the names that made up WHS...those were the great times ........Education was the best.......back then some had other views of that..it went by fast.....After a few years past..it hit me.....the teacher taught us what we needed to get through the struggles we were to face..becoming adults........something the kids of today will never experience......As far as the dinner issue and so many becoming sick......i am glad i did not make it...going back to Bakersfield..would have been a long drive up....and the hope i find that bathroom quick..going back.................any who..it was nice to read all the post...Woodland then was the best.........

Add me to the list as well.  It was not until Wed. and not severe, but was wondering where I got the "bug", now I know after reading the forum.  Otherwise, I had a great time and enjoyed seeing everybody.  Thank you to the committee for doing such a great job organizing and succeeding with a "Great Reunion".

I just want to thank the reunion committee for all your hard work. It was so much fun getting together with friends from so long ago and sharing memories. Unfortunately my husband and I also are among those that became ill after the reunion dinner.

Sandra Moffett (Brown) (1965)

Add me to the list also. Woke up early Mon morning with severe runs. Felt some better Wed but didn't feel good Thurs and then had severe runs again all night. Dan hasn't felt 100% but mostly headache. Such a shame after a wonderful event. Thanks to all who worked to put this event on.

Susan Daily (Torguson) (1965)

So sorry to hear of the after-reunion "flu." For what it's worth, I did not get sick, and I had bites of everything except the green salad. The reunion was wonderful. It was great to see and visit with so many. Thanks to all who organized this event.

We had a wonderful time, but have been sick all week too.  Hope you get to the bottom ( no pun intended) of it. Dan & Susie Giger

June Sakata (1966)

I have had those symptoms all week.

Patricia McFarlane (Brown) (1962)

Add me and my sister to the list....we both ate some of everything.  Looks like the salad may have been the culprit.

We had a great time at the reunion.....thanks to all who worked so hard to put it on.

Rita Carrion (Easterly) (1969)

I just want to say how impressed I was with the organization of the "60's" class reunion. I had a wonderful time but I also have endured these same systems since Sunday. Again, I would like to thank the committee who put this gig together. It was great fun and I do have say I ate all my dinner.

I guess I was one of the lucky ones at the reunion. The food was great that night but for some reason I did not eat my salad. Didn’t come down with any symptoms. My wife and sister in law were not so lucky as they did eat their salad and had problems like what has been reported on the website. I really had a great time that night talking and seeing a lot of you. Thanks for coming to the reunion , see at the next one.

Greg Kareofelas (1962)

Hi Gary

Looking at some of the last comments, it sure sounds like the salad was the culprit. Can't they use that info to see where the ingredients came from or who supplied it. Who catered the event?

Connie Ortiz (Macias) (1964)

Add my husband, Terry Macias, class of 1961. He’s started feeling ill on Sunday, day after reunion. Spent the whole day in bed on Monday, today is Friday, September 21,2018, he’s still not up to par.

Greg,

It's not necessarily the ingredients in the salad.  It could be the lettuce itself.

A big thank you to the committee who put on a great reunion.  Two of my friends and I also became ill.  I was ill Sunday night till Tuesday night.  One of my friends was ill Tuesday and Wednesday the other friend didn't become ill until Friday but with the exact symptoms.  So unfortunate.  I hope everyone has recovered.

I too have been down since Sunday. Ate everything. Mom said clean your plate.
On the plus side I was home on two days when deliveries were supposedly made but no one came to my door. I thought theft now I think delivery errors. Some GPS maps get to much trust. I'm also heading in for flu shot.

Lot of reunion work but great job. Thanks committee.

Wow! I was out of state, so could not be there for last week-ends' event, therefore missed out on the salad. But the great thing is: look how many folks have checked into the website, to let us know one way or another, that they had a good time even if they got sick. Way to go, committee.
