I've found if you tuck one part of your pants leg into your sock, people expect less of you.

Just to be clear Tim..... You didn't find that rubber band next to a square foil packet, Did you?

Why did the chicken cross the road?  To show the possum it could be done.  Sorry, old joke.

10/24/19 09:26 AM #5494

Tim Tucker (1965)

A turtle was crossing the road when two snails mugged him. The police showed up and asked him what happened ? He said, "I don't know, it all happened so fast!"

(This is no joke, this is irony.)...I knew a kid, when I was in high school, that went to El Camino High School, lived on El Camino Avenue, and drove a.......Ranchero !.......Go figure .

Dan Ree (Ree) (1964)

Hey..Tim.....here's a chicken Humor....." If your idea of a 7 course meal is a bucket of KFC and a six pack....you might be from Woodland......".....LOL!

John Michael Somero (1967)

This is probably neither humorous nor ironic, but I found it interesting.  I was born in Hancock, Michigan, which has the main street called "Quincy Street"...  My wife of almost 46 years now was born in Quincy, MA, which has the main street called "Hancock Street".

Tim Tucker (1965)

...and I was born (third generation) in Quincy, California....more irony.

California faced again with fires.  May we look out and give to all those in need, including our firefighters.  Do hope that all can be contained.  It does appear that many electrical lines should have been put undergroud.  A terrible loss to all of California. .

Aileen Jull (Martinez) (1964)

I worked for PG&E for several years.  It presently is impossible to install high voltage lines to underground.  So that won't be happening until they can figure out how to do it safely.  Something PG&E may look into eventually doing, is to cut the grid into smaller sections which could be shut off without affecting areas that don't have a wind problem.  Now that's a possibility.

Eugene Boyd (1966)

Both California and PG & E have the ability to prevent such needless outages and costs but the state has to take the lead. However the Democrats seem complelled to “punish” California residents. I’m looking to contact favorable Republican representatives to see if they are interested in research resolving this crisis—a solution that could be implemented within a matter of days.

With all these possibilities and suggestions to correct the issues with lines and infrastructure from just our group, there should be a very timely resolve to all these fire preventions.  I only hope the State and the agencies will conclude immediately with a resolve, without continual power shut downs.
